Event News

SFWDA MUD FEST WILL NOT BE HELD IN 2019!

Four wheelers, please read on...

Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be hosting Mud Fest 2019. To respect all involved, that is all we will say at this time. However, we will say this about us and our event:

“As a non profit organization hosting four wheel drive events for 50 years, we want to say thank you to all of our loyal participants, vendors, sponsors, community, and the sport of four wheeling.

Unlike for profit events, we host our annual mud event for you not for profit. Proceeds from our organization are donated back into the community. We are a group of local volunteers donating our time to you and we are proud of that!

Keep in mind that over those 50 years, our event has evolved and changed locations for one reason or another. However, each time we have continued on the tradition and plan to do so again in the future. It is our mission to bring you another great four wheel drive event!

You don’t have 50 years of events without a successful program that is respected by the community, law enforcement, county officials, its colleagues, and most of all the participants. We encourage our fellow four wheelers to participate in other events.  They are few and far between these days.  However, our advice to you would be to do your homework. Ask questions. What are the event rules, status with the county and law enforcement, track record hosting events, reputation of the ticket outlet, and so on. It is our duty as four wheelers to keep our sport alive.

All information regarding our upcoming four wheel drive events will be posted here. Check back from time to time. And remember, if it is about us or our four wheel drive events, and you don’t read it here, it may not be true.

Happy four wheeling!”
